Frequently Asked Questions
What makes RISE Sleep Clinic different from sleep hygiene tips?
Sleep hygiene tips are a starting point, but they work the same way for everyone. Personalized, clinician-led care gets at the root cause of your unique sleep challenges. Our psychologists look at your data, your schedule, and your life to build a treatment plan around what's actually keeping you awake.
How soon will I feel better?
Most patients notice improvements within a few weeks. A typical full treatment course takes 6-10 weeks, but you'll likely feel real progress well before that.
Do I have to use the RISE app?
It's recommended, but not required. The app tracks your progress, sends reminders between sessions, and helps integrate your real-world sleep data into your treatment plan. It's designed to support your care expert's work, not replace it.
What conditions do you treat?
Our care experts provide evidence-based treatment for insomnia, sleep apnea, and related sleep disorders. If you're not sure whether your situation qualifies, the sleep assessment will tell you.
Can you help me get off sleep medication?
When appropriate, your care expert guides a gradual, supervised taper to minimize withdrawal and maintain your sleep quality. The goal is helping you use less medication, not forcing you off it.
